Awesome God
Ever had a hint of doubt, a side of fear, a will that runs dry and a fervor not on fire? It’s ok! That’s how it is in our human nature, we can be shackled, messed up, down right reckless and wanting to do our own thing, but God is awesome. He sees us just for what and who we are. He comes in and steps in always on time. When we are about to hang ourselves about the neck with our selfish wickedness and deeds, He steps in with Love.
We might be like Jonah, and run away from His will, we might be like Esther, willing but utterly afraid to move, we might be like Job, lose everything and fight the burn to just turn our backs, but through it all God is indeed faithful. Prayers may not seem to be answered when we would like, but He sees, He hears and He knows, and all things work out just as He plans.
Don’t give up, face your battles! Be a risk taker for God. When the fear enters, remind yourself that God has never failed you yet. When you hear a voice of doubt, tell yourself, God is more than able. Fire got burned out? No problem, let His holy word re-ignite it. Will of your own steering you wrong? Hey! It’s time to heed to His will and not your own. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7)
This is my personal reminder to myself, it’s never been about me, it’s been about Him. The moment I forget to live for Him, it’s the moment my life comes to light in chaos, my admonition is to pray (while hard it may at times be, pray always), and read the Word. A thing or note I remembered about reading is this: reading the Word is one of the only way we can come to Jesus, why? Well the bible says He is the Word made flesh. (St. John 1:1, St. John 1:14, 1 John 1:1, 1 John 5:7), so if we seek to know Him entirely, we need to start reading about Him.
I pray God continues to uplift us all, as we press on this narrow road that sometimes seem bleak and dim, that we will not lose hope, nor faith, but rather stand up for Jesus, because He loves us so.
God Bless :)
